Apple Green Motorbike with white pins?

So @cr250mark listed this apple green motorbike on DOND . I'm going to paint one this color and was trying to discern what color pin stripes were on it and it appears to me they are white. I assumed they would be black but if you look at the rear fender you see the outlines of the pins (white) and it looks like the seat tube diamond has a white outline as well. Thoughts from the Schwinn gurus @bobcycles @cyclingday @markivpedalpusher @onecatahula and you other Schwinn aficionados.

They were typically red, but they shadowed the white trim, where they’ve since been rubbed off, making it look like they were white.

Based on the fork dart near the top they were Red in color

Red. Over time in the presence of sunlight this colour oxidizes to orange/red
