Could use more photos. The fork doesn't look right to me. Looks postwar by looking at the rear fork.

Fork is not a Schween, and badges really don't tell you much at all if anything, unless the complete bike can be seen. Late 30's to early 50's?

Someone recently posted that Schwinn stopped allowing house brand badges on Schwinn bikes ca. 1954, so that could give you an end date.
