Technically they are not supposed to at this point. However if a mistake is made and you receive a W9 you will have to provide proof of why the funds were sent. Another words if you are accepting funds using FF in return for the sale of goods or services you will be liable for tax of such goods and services.

This is the best reason that I always pay with a money order or personal check so their is no problem with the Big Brother BS taking all the fun out our hobby.

Actually it would be a 1099 and as long as it’s FF you won’t get one.
