Just picked this up last week. It appears to be early 80s. I can't find any info on this model. There was an Araya Aero-821 with full Shimano AX aero group but the 822 is less well known apparently.
It appears to be all original except for mismatched tires. Note the ovalized seat and down tubes (he seat stays and chain stay bridge are also teardrop shaped). Also, the Tange aero headset, the Dia-Compe Gran Comp brakes, Shimano 600 AX aero seat post, the Kashimax aero saddle, Suzue Juno hubs laced to aero Araya rims, SR Aerox crank, SunTour 13-21 6 speed gold freewheel, Cyclone front and rear derailleurs and top mount shifters. and, of course, the original aero water bottle. Not pictured are the MKS aero pedals. Still need to clean them up.
There's a San Francisco Cycles shop sticker on the seat tube. If anyone has any info on this one I'd appreciate it. Thanks !
