Araya made S-7 rims

Vista bikes used the odd 1-3/4 rims as well. I believe these came from the same factory as Columbias. I've seen them on several Torinos. Why they did this, I don't know. I have seen 20 x 1-3/4 Vista branded tires too...

It seems Vista really went with the Schwinn knock off. Some I have seen look as though they must have paid to use some of Schwinn's patents. Schwinn was already a household name I wonder if the allowed it because they felt they were top dog. Not knowing they were rolling down the other side of the mountain at that point.
