Are new non-stainless spokes available nowadays?

Has anyone found a source for new double-butted spokes that are NOT stainless steel? I'm looking to put together a couple of 700c wheelsets for older 28" bikes & would like to be able to patina the spokes & nips a bit so they're not so shiny. I've seen black spokes available, but I don't think that's really what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for the help!

Not really what I would call a source, but I just checked Ebay and got 31 hits on "Torrington spokes". You may have to wait for the exact spokes, or you can get some that are a bit long and cut them down. They don't seem to be listed consistently inch or metric, but I managed to get a full box to fit my 28 x 1 1/2 German Roadster wheels. They conveniently came pre-patinated too! With nipples!

Most new spokes that are non-stainless are zinc plated and considered low end so they do not come double butted. I’ll check my suppliers and see what I can find. I also have a stash of old NOS spokes I can look through if you figure out the size.
