I'm in California at low altitude. I'm cheerfully repacking a 1980s mountain bike in an AirBNB shack while working away from home for cheap employers. Bearing assortment arrives tomorrow!

I can see why the midwest and northeast guys put their bikes in storage. (lots of snow) It's definitely colder and wetter this time of year in the Northwest, but we still ride. Just not as often. Like Rob said if you get a nice day, you go for it. I'm envious of the pictures tripple3, Cyclingday, and the rest of the guys from SoCal post. The beaches and sunshine look pretty darn good to me.
