Atlas bicycle. What can anyone tell me about them?

There were at least two manufacturers of a bicycle called Atlas in the 1890s - one in Chicago and another in upstate New York. Pics will definitely help.

The rack and reflector look Japanese to me, but I don't know that for a fact.

It's an India-made copy of a British roadster. They're still produced over there, and I think Atlas is still in business.

You're probably better off making a new thread for the other Atlas - this thread was about the Indian Atlas bike the original poster came across. If he bothers to come back, at least he'll have some info on his bike.
