Do you know the year range this was used in? It was on a BSA bicycle, I don't know if the 2 is 1952 or 1962 etc.

That is a good question, and puts the Atom hub back into the 1950s if it is correct.
I have been trying to find out when Atom started producing the all alloy hubs we know today.
Maybe I am not looking in the right place.
 
I tried looking up info on this hub before I posted it for sale and found very little on the history of Atom. If you find more info, please let me know.

I will, i am working on it for my own purposes as well.
The question posed earlier about Atom stamping BSA on a hub after 1957 when they were bought by Raleigh may shed some light on this.
At least it is a 36 hole hub, that makes it more usable than a 40 hole.
A lot of English lightweights were 40 hole. They had to be different I guess.
Or was it us?
