Awesome large 1900s tinted Olympic? cyclist photo ..Does anyone recognize him?

I tried looking him up online..Obviously limited photos from the turn of the century.. Maybe John Henry Lake ?Maybe just some guy who loved his bike? I opened the back with an older (70s?)paper shopping bag for a backing and removed cardboard to reveal the "artist"(tinter?) name,though hard to read. Any thoughts anyone? Thank you,Jeff

Is that an Olympic outfit he's wearing though, or a U.S. national champions one?
Someone may have good knowledge of this on here.
That dropped, curved stem is gorgeous! Might be a good indication of a possible date?
