So, since the weather was so nice and spring is in the air, I decided to tear down my Hornet I recently purchased. When I opened up the aftermarket headlamp the original batteries were still inside. Do you think they will send me a replacement

Mail them back just to see if they'll back their guarantee.

I bought a Girl`s Prewar DX one time on a trip up to Yankee-land. Got it at a country sale.Had light surface rust , but cleaned up pretty good- Cobalt Blue and Ivory. Chrome was gone though...
Two things about that bike-- had a springer with a little sticker (decal) that said " Patent Applied For". Also had the original batteries in the tank that had never corroded. The bottom of the batteries said "For best results use before (a date) and 1939".... ----------Cowboy
