New Mexico Brant

Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
An extraordinarily restored Elgin Falcon by Bob Strucel. The restoration was done a number of years ago so the bike is not perfect and has a serious problem with the rear fender and issues with the rear rack. The bicycle received a side impact on the rear fender that has caused a large dent (see image). The rear rack is a bit out of true and the right rear leg has bending that needs massaged-out (there is paint losses because of the bending, the left leg has minor bending; this would look better straightened and repainted if you want the bike to look perfect; see images). There also is a scratch on the one tank decals, some paint scratch/chip on rims (see images), paint chip where rack meets frame (see images). Has a killer pair of heavy duty Allstate tires (some side wall cracking). Comes with a sweet restored saddle, lamp (unrestored, shows patina), fabulously plating on the chain ring and cad-plate drop stand, a pair of repop Persons pedals included. $1,800 plus shipping. Can be paid in two $900 installments (first $900 due immediately, balance in 45 days; first payment is non-refundable with default). Sold pending payment, thank you CABE! Please PM to purchase. Kindly, Brant

That's a nice ride there. Really, it wouldn't be too terribly hard to reverse that damage and get it good as new again. In the right hands, someone who is even only reasonably skilled in doing some body work, could correct those problems with a reasonable amount of time and effort. Nice ride never the less!
