Thought I would share my latest bike. Here are some before and after pics of my 36-37 ish Iver Johnson Truss Roadster model 86. She is somewhat of a celebrity having been published in the book “Evolution of the Bicycle”. It has a waterslide decal from “Pansy Motor & Cycles works, Denvers leading bicycle house” Denver Colorado. Here she is in the book, as received and now after some cleaning. The S/N is 588479. I believe during 1936 and 1937 IJ offered both Standard (28”) or Balloon (26”) tires on this model. On this bike there is a factory shim between the frame and fender. She is a beautiful bike! I got it from Tony in Denver, but prior to that is a mystery. Anybody know this girl?

Back around 15 years ago I bought a shot gun made from this bicycle company. 20 ga. Gave the old boy a pack of smokes and 5 dollars for it. I knew nothing about the gun. Put it up on Gun Broker and the dang gun sold for 2,500.00 and yes I did go back and give the old boy 1,000.00 bucks. He liked to have killed over.
