Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Okay, this was a fix n' flip bike I got two years ago. It was a 1976 AMF Scorcher roadbike. I liked the color, and thought it would look nice all polished up. I found it in a barn, and bundled with a set of antique Ford wheel covers. I made money on the wheel covers, but the bike sat just as I got it. I started on it sometime last year, and worked on it here and there, as time allowed. This obviously was NOT a priority. I will sell it, and break even on the parts.
So, while not a financially fulfilling restoration, it is an emotionally fulfilling one. Especially when I look at the old pic and see where it started.
I'm blown away. Enjoy the pics!
