Something is wrong with your link....

Kinda big category.

What information about old bikes are you interested in?

Mechanics and design
Sharpes Treatise on bicycles and tricycles;

Companies and personalities
Bob Chicken- a passion for the bicycle
anything on Major Taylor;

Technology/mechanics
Any of the Bob Vander Plas books

Riding
Delva Murphy, Karl Kron, John Foster Fraser(just finished reading his book about traveling around
the world in 1896/7) ;

or any of a host of others, as mentioned above.

There are great titles in every category, and some duds as well.

No one book can/does justice to the topic.

From a British point of view......

From a history of racing perspective:

"Butcher, Baker, Acrobat, Sweep" - Peter Cossins
( A history of the first tour de France).

"Lanterne Rouge" - Max Leonard.
( History of the men who finished last in Le Tour).

"Ride, Ride, Ride" - Mark Wellings.
(History of Herne Hill Velodrome, the oldest surviving race track in England).

General history:

"Re:Cyclists" - Michael Hutchinson.
(200 years on two wheels).

"Pedalare, Pedalare" - John Foot.
(Cycling in Italy).

Biographies/Autobiographies:

"Eddy Merckx, The Cannibal" - Daniel Friebe.
(Relentless superiority)

"Flying Scotsman" - Graeme Obree.
(One man's efforts to take on the world hour record single-handedly, on a homemade bicycle).

"The Death of Marco Pantani" - Matt Rendell.
(Tragic, beautiful telling of the life of a true star - in my eyes anyway).

"Road to Valour" - Ali & Andres McConnon.
(A telling of Gino Bartali's heroic exploits saving lives in WW2).

"The Fastest Bicycle Rider in the World " - Marshall 'Major" Taylor.
( Relentless, humbling)

Humour:

Anything by Tim Moore.

Technical:

Anything by Tony Hadland.

Anything published by the Veteran Cycle-Club in the UK.

Just a few of my favourites.
