Finally riding a big boys bike
Sunday at the Royal Oak, Michigan Farmer's Market where we host the Classoc Bike Swap Meet every September, I saw a strange looking bell on a table. After I realized what it was I got it.
From a distance it looked like a baby's rattle.
It was attached to a wooden file handle like an old wooden handle grip. It's a nickle plated 1887 patented Bevin "Century" bell
This bell is so perfect when you ring it the bell keeps resonating for about 5 seconds. Cleaned it up a bit but it was quite nice to begin with.
