We can only begin to imagine the miles and merits combined in this room.
From what I can find this was likely the last meeting of the "Wheelmen of the past Century" - A group of one-time great bicycle racers that began meeting in 1924 to re-live glory days and rekindle old friendships.
Many of the group went on to be famous automobile / motorcycle racers as well as industrialists, politicians, and magnates in their own accord.

Some killer outfits on display and the bikes are in pretty good focus as well!
Based on the damage to the paper and track marks on the back I believe this was likely run over by a bicycle at some point.
