    The Little 500 at Indiana University is sorta similar. Coaster bakes and all. So much fun to watch. I wish stadium bicycle racing makes a come back some day. I can only Imaging watching 6 day races and all that.

    You're right @pedal4416, Cycle Speedway is still going strong on this side of the pond.
    My local club, "Horspath Hammers", has been going strong since 1956.
    I've never had a go myself, but it's great to watch.
    We have national leagues and cup competitions too!

    I knew they still did the little 500, but this looks cooler. A smaller tighter track looks fun! Plenty of opportunities to get sideways!

    Love the vid - thanks for posting.

    I think having the necessary disinfectant on hand (for internal consumption) would be critical for a race's overall success.

    I would imagine those lads had a small ale or three.
