Bike book

Anyone know of a good book on older bike mechanics? I'd like to know at least a little before I tear down my '48 CWC. For instance I didn't realize at first that the left pedal was left-hand threads. Rather not break anything I don't need to. Thanks.

Yep the above book is pretty good. Not only is the left pedal reverse thread but the crank nut(s) is as well. V/r Shawn
