Bike identification

I picked up this bicycle today. The guy I got her from said it was a 20" Schwinn auto cycle pre-war. But I can't find anything that looks like it on the internet. A good friend of mine also said it was A shcwinn auto cycle. Any opinions would be very welcome.

New guy here, thanks for having me. I found this in the garage of a house I bought and it sparked an interest so I started doing some digging. The style and serial number don't make sense to me. The serial number is D66317 with the Cw stamp, according to the chart I've seen floating around that...

Good evening all. I’ve had this a while and am now looking for info on it. Any and all opinions appreciated. I’m told it’s possibly a Colson. C 16911 appears to be the serial number. Thanks!

I'm leaning towards Colson. I may be seeing it wrong, but the seat stays up top have that boxy ovalized tubing like Colson. Got a picture of the serial number under the crank?

I’m kinda leaning towards CWC as well. A better pic of fender bridge and serial number would clear this up.

I may as well give my 2 cents. Judging from the smooth welds, I go with Elgin.

A76355 I found this in my phone today. This is the serial number off the bike.
