I live for the CABE
Has a thread already been started dealing with Bike Shop Decals? If so, please direct me there. If not, let's see some of these beauties posted here.
This sticker is on a '30s Swift that I just obtained. I bought the bike from a fellow Cabe member who lives in Canada. He bought it a few years ago. Penticon is a city of about 40,000 in B.C. The name is Okanagan and it means "a place to stay forever" or "a place where people live year-round." The telephone number is 7 digits with no alphabetic prefix, so I'm guessing the decal is post '60s. Penticon Lock & Cycle is no longer listed in the "Yellow Pages"!
