Riding a '37 Dayton Super Streamline
I will deliver any of the following bikes to MLC as long as they are prepaid. Please see descriptions/pics. These are my bottom line prices so no negotiation, trades, etc... Thanks, Shawn
First up a basement fresh '38 Wards (later Montgomery Wards) Hawthorne Comet built by H.P. Snyder who also built Rollfast bicycles for D.P. Harris. This bike is original except for the new U.S. Royal chain tread reproduction tires and tubes (26 x 2.125). I also straightened the fork, replaced a broken drop stand clip, and headlight lens. I serviced both hubs and the headset. I rode the bike a few miles and gave it the 'no hands' test to make sure it is tracking straight. Has the original Troxel Airflex seat which has a rip but is very comfortable. The tank is solid and the horn may work with a little effort. The headlight is complete but I think too corroded to work. The patina on this bike is bitch'n so I left it alone. I believe the paint would clean up good if the new owner wanted a little more pop. $700 firm. Bike will be delivered to MLC free prepaid PP as F&F or add the 3%. My PM is turned off. Do not respond here. Contact me at [email protected] for more info or to make purchase. Thanks, Shawn
1940 Monark Four Bar project. A largely complete project that should make an easy resto or custom paint to your sweetheart’s wishes. Non horn tank and what you see is what you get. $245 firm. Bike will be delivered to MLC free prepaid PP as F&F or add the 3%. My PM is turned off. Do not respond here. Contact me at [email protected] for more info or to make purchase. Thanks, Shawn
1937 H.P. Snyder built bike. Missing head badge but could have been Rollfast, Harvard, Peerless, Cadet, Princeton, Yale, etc... . This is a largely complete project but will be a cool bike once restored or excellent candidate for custom/rat. These fastback frames make great customs. $195 Parts alone worth my asking price. My PM is turned off. Do not respond here. Contact me at [email protected] for more info or to make purchase. Thanks, Shawn
