Finally riding a big boys bike
Back in 2002 , I was asked by my friend Kevin Young the curator of Buffalo Gap Historic Village , to bring my old bikes and motorcycles up to the site for an event. It was called from “Horses to Horseless Carriages”. I collected a couple of living history buddies, Steve Hardin and Hector Gonzalez and headed to the event. It was a great time.
Sadly, when I thought of leaving the bike hobby several years ago, I sold my restored 1891 Victor Hard Tire Safety you see in the pictures.(Never afford to get that one back). However , I came to my senses and am in the process of upgrading the 1896 Crescent you see here.
Also, that’s my 1936 BSA M20...still going strong.
On a sad note , Kevin and Hector both passed away way before their time. We miss them to this very day.
Enjoy the photos!
