I wish the bike was mine! Just doing some clean-up on it and getting it rideable for a customer. I'll let him post pics later if he should want to show it off.

Getting it back in can be just as fun! I was gonna suggest wearing a glove when doing this because if you catch one of the tabs on the side with a finger it sucks. V/r Shawn

Wrapped the brass around it, cut to fit. Held it tight with my left hand, then gentle tap tap tap around 'till it came off. Was pretty easy actually!

Yes. I saw this trick mentioned in an old post here on The CABE so I gave it a try, and eureka!
