Broken Rambler badge fix

Rambler 1900 badge broken, other side split half way. Believe it's brass. Anyone have success in mending a break like this? Thank you!

I've heard that a skilled jeweler can sometimes repair early badges.

Thank you! I have considered a jeweler. My ggggrandfather was a jeweler in Philly...but he died in 1864. My concern with a flame is however the irreversible destructicion potential. Guess that's where the term skilled comes into play. Also considered a superglue but there's so little mating surface to bond.
Thought of a thin layer of epoxy/fiber combo to the backside. Kind of like a splint. Plenty of textured surface to grip and may provide for some flex. Anyone ever try this??

I would go with the jeweler idea. Find someone good with antique jewelry, clocks, watches, etc...
