Not sure you would want to ride one for any distance. I displayed mine at a local bike shop and took donations for wounded warriors. Mine is not og but most people could not tell. It got a good response, most people don't even know such a bike was used by our troops. If you were closer I would lend you mine for display purposes.
I had a friend, a San Francisco Armenian, he has since passed away. He bought a BSA Paratrooper in the 50s, put a Sturmey 3 speed on it and rode around the world. True story, he had newspaper articles from far away countries about him riding through.
