Wildeman

Look Ma, No Hands!
I am currently stuck in Croatia and I have been looking around for a project to restore. I have found a couple of Bugatti bicycles which appear to be from the 1950s. One is here in this country and one in Great Britain. I can not find any information on the internet on these bikes. They have British type rod brakes with front truss rods with springs on the top. I am looking for any history on them. Did Bugatti make bikes on and off over the years? His first one is in a museum. It is around 1910 pictured below. I have no idea of the exact year of manufacture or of their worth. Any help greatly appreciated. I need a project so I don't go stir crazy being holed up over here.

I don’t have any answers for you, but the name, Bugatti, is certainly bound to pique anyone’s interest.
I’ll be curious to see what you find out, so please stay in touch, and keep us up to speed.
Good luck in your endeavor.

Well I am lucky I kept up with my research other wise I may have become a pigeon. The bicycle is a model PA-02 Flying Pigeon branded with Bugatti decals. Made in China back in the 1980s but I believe they are still in production. I thought something was very funny about the springs on the top of the truss rods. I could not understand how they could function. I was right about that anyway. They are for looks only.
