@Eddie_Boy , I've been in that bike shop in Port Orchard . I've asked the owner about selling old bikes and parts............He always says " Not for sale on anything or any one of them , their my retirement " ☹️ That's hard to hear when your looking at such a nice selection. I will say though............I think he believes his stuff is worth more than gold.............considering the overall condition of what he has there. Still kind of a bummer he won't let the old stuff go. I wish I could make the Burley Creek swap this year , but I'm spending time this weekend getting my " New" Bike barn ready for winter . I love the Cabe ! You guys are the best ! Enjoy the Swap ! 😀
Olympic cycle Fred is a character indeed. I was there a few years back...made a deal on 3 bikes. Paid him.
he was going to ship them to CA...
Next thing I know, I'm getting my money back in the mail, renegged.. Says he's keeping them for ever blahblah...
On another visit..one of the bikes of the 3...Gone. Sold.
People suck sometimes.
Interesting shop, Fred has some interesting stories, a true character indeed..but not a man of his word...
literally has a ' massive pile' of bikes and parts in the middle of the shop, real mess, bizarre scene there for sure.
