Finally riding a big boys bike
Back home after a week long road trip to the Northwest, and what an awesome road trip it was. One of the many highlights of our trip was definitely the Burley Creek swap. We’ve seen pictures of the venue in the past, the vintage collections, the classics cars, the vintage bicycles. Pictures don't do the place justice. So beautiful there. And of course, the wonderful hosts, Tom and son Ryan @Burleycreek. From our early arrival on Friday to one of the last to leave on Saturday, the Northwest family welcomed us as their guests and we had such an incredible time.

To us, the experience of attending Burley Creek for the first time, doesn’t happen without the Northwest CABErs. I have kept in contact with Tim @Tim the Skid and Frank @Frank and Pam Skid Kings about coming up one of these days. And now that we attended, we will be sure to return. Who knows? maybe again in the spring. Special thanks to Tim, Jeff @Jeff the Skid, and Justin @JRE and his wife Connie since we all stayed overnight and stayed up late.

It was nice meeting CABErs for the first time, Rick @RidinRelics and Evan @prewarmachine, and Bud @bud poe. Since last year’s Keizer, talked with Ian @ian, Mark @redline1968, Dave @Boris, and Josh @ORcollector.

Here are a few pics that I took. I apologize for posting later.

Have a new name for these two cats, "TT Tops", jamming around the bonfire. Great entertainment by Tom and Tim. Tim, who is a great guitar player, played an entire set for us and then some. Thanks Tim

A huge thanks to these two skid kings, Tim and Jeff and not pictured Frank. Hard to leave when you are having so much fun hanging out. Thanks Tim for the delicious Washington style Brats.

@Eddie_Boy Thanks for taking the time to post your photos Eddie. It's nice to see detailed coverage of this fast growing event. Tom is considering expanding it to a two day show, which would be nice as we were just hitting our stride and had to leave!😅 We miss you and your lovely bride already. See you at the Turlock, CA swap in January!

Jeff the Skid

Look Ma, No Hands!
It was good to see you and Mercedes again there along with all of the others caber’s and other vendors as well. Glad you had a great time there and your pictures are a great display of what shows up at this meet and the venue as well. Tom and Ryan provide a cool place to hang out with everyone before, during, and after the days swapping. See you in Turlock!!

RidinRelics

Wore out three sets of tires already!
Thanks @Eddie_Boy for the awesome pics it was great meeting you and your wife Mercedes. Really enjoyed talking bikes with you and your input on the C Model I bought. You two seemed right at home in our wet climate as we stood around talking during the downpour of rain we had. I got completely out of the hobby for 20 years , Burley Creek has been a great venue to reconnect with some old friends and make new ones. I always have a good time selling, but more fun spending the money I make (and more) buying more bikes and parts. Nice talking to several guys from Oregon for first time. Ian @ian always responds to my posts and met him for 1st time. Talked to Jeff @Jeff the Skid quite a bit and bought a bike from him. Frank @Frank and Pam Skid Kings always fun to talk to. Ryan @Burley Creek and his dad are great hosts and provide the perfect venue. Thanks Ryan I always seem to get good deals from you every swap. This swap will definitely continue to grow in years to come.
