Hi all I'm new here...I collect a wide variety of sports display antiques...Thought I'd share this broadside poster I got last year...For those unfamiliar with this kind of poster...they're often refered to as a braodside...At 34" wide his would be an extra large example...I'm wild for most any early cycling broadside but this one was for an International Championship...Actually it's not clear who or what the governing body was to make it an international championship...or even how structured the vetting was then...nevertheless I was very happy to land it...This photo isn't the best...in person the paper is acutally sort of a dark yellow...

I was able to find a few shots of Jules Dubois on line, see below...turns out for all the hoopla old Jules only placed third that day...I was able to find a newspaper reference to the race, see below...

wow...what are the dimesnions?...very rare...never seen or heard of that...very interesting it was produced in france...
