Jesse McCauley

McCauley Cycle Works
Been meaning to post this since I found the last missing bits.

Dope little machine, when Eric Baker found this one it was overpainted and sported a Christy Racing saddle....who knows?

The "Cupid" came in two colors - black or maroon. It originally had wood handlebars. I have the full write-up of "Cupid" bikes and a clear large photo of this bike.

I have a decent advert but I believe the ad I have is a couple years earlier. I’d love to see yours.

Looks like a fork for a taller bicycle.
Maybe the wheels were added to a larger frame?

My suspicion is they used a full size fork “blank” and re-bent / cut it down for use with this bike.

I believe the wheels are original to the bike and the way the bike sits tells me the frame geometry suits the wheel size but I can’t be sure of anything I spose!
