Very scarce drop stand up for grabs.
Original , appropriate hardware for many if not all of the first generation of motorcycles.
I believe the traces of grey paint are original paint to the stand but cannot be sure.
Drop stand clip is very heavy duty and came with the stand, I believe it is original gear as well.
Pictures will tell the story best on this stand, I believe the bend that you see on both arms towards the dropout mounts is original contour and not damage that needs straightening.
Attached is a great deal of trade literature from the 1909 - 1913 window showing this stand was heavily advertised alongside other top of the line innovations of the day.
Also attached are a couple examples of bikes that came "stock" with this stand but eventually the design came to be industry standard and heavily duplicated.
I am open to trades if you have something killer, PM me-
I know many early motorcycle guys have come to accept reproduction hardware on their bikes as the norm, here is a chance to replace something chincy with something legit.
For those viewing on Tapatalk - $1,000 shipped CONUS rom Richmond, VA
