Wore out three sets of tires already!
Trying to gather info on these Western Flyer Pedals. Who made them and when. The other pedals pictured have the same axle and fixed pedal bearing end. They also have the torrington hour glass interlock at the seam of the pedal axle cover. I am guessing Torrington as the manufacturer but not positive. Any info greatly appreciated.

Jeff,

are those the set you got from me?

If so, they cleaned up very nicely. Great job.

They look Persons, but the real determining factor would be if the block pins are fixed to the outer end plate.
If they are fixed = Torrington
If not, then Wald, Persons, etc.
Just my 2cents.

Copy that. The pins on that girls set photoed are not fixed. I’m assuming they are Torrington because of the interlocking seam.
Just did more digging and found these Hawthorne pedals with the same axle set up as the Western Flyers. Do we know who made these and I’m assuming post war.

Just made another comparison. Although the axles are different. The caps and end plates and the way the banners are connected are identical to Torrington Signal pedals.

I have a pedal that's very similar to these. It's marked Brampton Made in England and has the same design blocks and very similar endcaps. My phone is dead right now but I'll get some pics later.
