Cabinet For My Oilers

-

I live for the CABE
I salvaged this cabinet from an old house being torn down. It was recessed into the wall, so I had to repair the sides. I also had to make a door for it and trim off the bottom. The key was to make it look like I never did a thing. The shelves are adjustable and will be perfect for my handy oilers and small tins.

Have you put the glass back in the door yet?
You have done a wonderful job.
I would try to find a piece of old wavy glass to put in the door. A good place to find original wavy glass for restoration jobs like that are windows.
I have fixed a bunch of antique pieces with old window glass. I bought 4 old display cases all of them needed glass in them and i bought 30 old wavy glass windows and repaired all of the displays with the windows. I gave $40 each for the display cases and sold them for $700 each after I restoed them.
The wavy glass really gives it an antique look.
Just a thought, But you have done a wonderful job. Looks good.
