It's the third digit from the end. Looks somewhat like a ? to me. Weirdest stamping I've seen for a serial number!

It looks like a one (1) that just slipped down a bit. One search came up with '61 does that seem right?

I don't think it's even close to a 1. There are two other 1's in that serial number and you can see the ? is not even close! Maybe a worn out I stamp that someone thought was a 1 and loaded it in the die stamping head?

Yes I do know that. I've seem some really screwed up serial numbers over the years, but this one is somewhat uncommon .

Well it is for sale at a price that will knock you down flat on your face. Koolbikes just posted the link in the Corvette 5 Registry thread. I was keeping it a secret until I found out what the serial number was. HAHA!
