Not Safe For Bike Weirdos

I'm posting it pic heavy here as the CCM site is onerous for posting pics so I am going to link this to a thread there for the Canadian enthusiasts.

So I picked up this rare CCM Flyte and it is pretty much complete. It cleaned up so well, one of the nicest originals I have ever seen. Here is a great link to some info on the Flyte.

www.ccmflyte.com

I took prolly 10-12 hours to get her cleaned up and serviced. IMO Flytes have a silky smooth ride with a near perfect gear ratio.

One interesting note is that all CCM parts, and I mean pretty much all, are stamped with the CCM logo, even the tiniest coaster brake part.

Absolutely beautiful!! The clean, classic CCM lines and details really pop.. Removing all those add-ons made a world of difference. Nice job on the clean up and congrats on scoring such a complete, original example. Great bike!

Thanks Fltwd57! I couldn't decide between cream and black tires but went with black because i felt the cream drew too much attention away from the aesthetics.

I love the lines. The cream is amazing...I bought my only CCM a month ago. Ladies but it has 28" wheels

Thanks! I am always so envious of the "Sunday Show and Tell" threads on here. As you can imagine we simply do not have the amount of vintage bikes that you do in the US so I sit here gawking at Cabers' weekly finds. Unbelievable to me that I should find one of the rarest Canadian bikes, in such good condition, only 20 minutes from my house... in Vancouver no less!

You're welcome! Cool that it surfaced so close to your home... It was meant to be! I think it's great when a very special machine like this finds it's way into the hands of the right person.
I'm sure there are more than a few of us on the U.S. side of the border that are quite envious of your wonderful Canadian find!!
:)

Sweet bike,I want it! I'm 1st gen American,Dad was from Ontario. I spent a lot of time there as a kid, always had a soft spot for CCM lightweights....Oh Cah Nah Dah

Just wondering if its for sale? Im assuming no but thought Id take a chance. If not do you have any leads on other flytes in the Vancouver area?

Paul.
