Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
These are favorite display items of mine. These are from the 1930’s, 40’s & 50's.
All show some wear and tear as expected. —The woven white and black has a couple leather white side links broken. One of the small belt straps is also torn on the rear heavier leather backing.
—The rare 1946-47 Harley has a tear in the one small belt straps, and originally had pockets (I guess the original owner thought the pockets were not cool). There also were white decorative leather rosettes layered between the red and black rosettes. Only a partial one is still present on the right. Looks like the original owner didn’t like the white and trimmed them off.
—The Detroit made belt ( A “Regal” Product, Joseph Buegeleisen Co. Detroit, Mich.) with the embossed wing and crown has the one inner pocket snap pulled out. This one has the name “Bob Love” on the rear. Makes you wonder how much game Bob Love had back in the day?
—Crazing and typical wear over all as expected.
