At least it is pictured in an ad with the early guard and chainwheel. I may go that route with the bike I have. I wish the 0326 models had also come in full chrome!

I had contemplated doing this Model 2226 as an all, Chrome Master, but decided to just stick with the traditional finish on it.

It would’ve been a mind blower as a Chrome Master, but then I’d always have to answer the question of Why?
I believe you achieved “mind blower” status as is!

Has anyone ever seen the badge that says "Chrome Master"? I've been told by other people that they have seen it, but I have never seen one......
That's an interesting point. If there isn't a special badge, how can you tell a factory chromed CWC from one done by an owner? There's a full chrome frankenbike Schwinn New World on FBM that must have been done by the owner, because I've never seen anything from Schwinn about a chrome New World.

I work for a Custom and Hot Rod shop. That stuff holds pretty well but.... for a rider.... I wouldn't want my girlfriend or anyone else's kissing asphalt. I'll probably just tig weld it and polish the welds back. Keep it small. Just no time. Always busy. Not a priority.
Weld it from the inside of the crank housing after removing the crank, and the bearing cups. Put a wet towel on the outside, so the chrome doesn't burn off.
