A1024 is a 17” frame and does not seem to fit into the timeline with regards to features. The bottom bracket offset is there but the lower cross bar does not extend to the head tube. Where did they reduce the frame from 19 to 17. On the 1941 16” Schwinn DX the top of the seat post is almost flush. The 17” Roadmaster here has an extended seat post same as a 19?
What am I missing here in order to confirm if this is in fact a 35’ production CWC?

Not sure if it is fair to compare the features changed over time with a shorter frame.

I believe that the early frames described by serial numbers and the truss tube height and intersections, might not have even applied to the shorter frames?

The bike is already known to the Cabe apparently.
The prior owner (ColsonTwinbar) introduced the serial on page 3 of this thread July 2008. This was pre date chart and Phil registered it but never commented.

A month prior to the above Serial number post the bike was in fact evaluated by Phil when it was purchased by the prior owner off EBay May 2008.
I am very pleased to have found these interactions. It’s things like this that can keep ya enthused !

If the fenders are original it was well optioned. Green bike under there too !
ok I’m done :) had to know

1936 CWC Roadmaster DBR
'X4584' serial number with a sideways 2 before it. F3 date code Morrow rear hub.
Bike has narrow gap offset rear stays at BB, narrow gap between top bars, drop stand ears, smooth seat post clamp, straight down tube, straight fender stays, double pinstripes on the fenders, etc. Basically, nothing out of the ordinary for a '36 as far as I am aware.

Well, I posted the last two on this thread, may as well add a third.
'41 Roadmaster, K34321 serial, sideways 95 after the serial. Original paint, I believe all the parts are original to the bike as well except the tires and grips I put on it, and the Troxel seat that replaced the rusty Lobdell that was on it. Oh, and a handful of spokes that were broken that got replaced.
K4 date code Morrow rear hub, Torrington bars and pedals, etc.
Last 4 pictures are as found, with 2 showing the tank insides.
