26 Inch Bike? Rear Dropouts and Straight Downtube denote Prewar , as well as the Drop Center Rims- but not necessarily. Chain Guard looks Postwar Rollfast/ Hawthorne, as well as the Rocket Type Graphics . Chain Ring is similar to those used on other Juvenile makes. I`m going with Postwar 20 or 24 inch Hawthorne Built... Maybe....

Looks like a Ross
Not prewar by a longshot...at least not WWII
Yeah. that`s what I said. Thanks Mike.------Cowboy
But, pretend you didn`t have the tank or chainguard- what would be your first thoughts?
Early '60s CBC/Ross built. If the first digit of the serial is an R, the next two should be the year. So, R620000 would be a '62.
