Coker repops on S2 rims?

I put a pair of Coker BF Goodrich tires on a pair of Schwinn S2 rims as i like the narrower profile for riding. When i mounted the tires is carefully checked the seating of the tire and bounced it several times prior to totally filling with air. I installed the tires with 35psi of air and took off on a ride around the area.

3 miles later i heard a "thump, thump" then a loud pop when the tube exploded.

My question is, has anyone had the same experiencr? Can you put narrower profile tires on S2's? Now i have Typhoons on rhe bike and no problems.

Your beads look to be non-existent and I would guess that is the problem and not because they are narrow tires

The picture of the beads was taken after i pushed the bike home. They were fine when installed. Rotten tire?? Didn't think so, but just bought from a well known caber.

I've read here on the Cabe that Coker tires are garbage and this might be one of the reasons. @bobcycles might know the details.

If the tires were undersize and the tubes were used you could have had a pinch.
