" 1943 War Price and Rationing Board" - WOW! Never have seen this before. First wartime civilian bike I've seen without blackout parts. Anyone else familiar with this? Looks like the docs really put this bike at a premium. Whoever gets this is getting a real rare piece of bicycle history with impeccable provenance. Good luck with your sale!

You're making me feel bad I sold it in the first place lol. This bike isn't a '43, so just inventory probably built closer to 1940 that was sold during the war. I tracked this bike down to the store front that it left which has now been demolished. There's a post on the cabe about it somewhere. From what I was told when I bought it, this bike was used on the farm all the way up to the 70's. Lived a long healthy purposeful life.
