Colson Flyer snap tank find today

This popped up for sale this morning.. see pic..a amazingly all original and complete colson snap tank. The bikes seat is amazing....color is great.....not sure on the year but I’m thinking 1938.. this was in storage for many years... thought I’d share some pics...glad I got it first......

Beauty! Should have a two digit code on the BB, apart from the serial #. "C 8" would be March '38.

Very nice bike, most likely a '40 or '41 based on the seat post shim and steer tube bearing cover.
One of my favorite bikes.

I concur...along with stamped fender braces & trussrods. Damn that thing is in amazing shape!

Thank you ...a 40-41 ....cool ...:0...I’ll check the crank Hangar bracket..I too love the color...it is a amazement on its survival.. they usually get trashed pretty hard...
