Colson question

I'm going to be buying a Colson from a friend of mine soon and was wondering if Colson ever had a model with a blister tank and a clipper chain guard. I'll get a picture of it soon to post.

They did. I just found a Advertisement in another thread. They made it in 1950 and called it a Colson Special.

Yea that's my favorite part of the bike and was super happy when I found out it came from the factory with the blister tank and rack along with the clipper chain guard.
