Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Got the bug this morning to put a bike together. I've had these two Colson frames hanging in the garage. The one I chose was complete, although apart , when I got it from good friend , Robin Bridges. I tried to buy it off Robin several years ago and he said, "David, just take it, it's yours... free." Whatta pal. So thank you, Robin. I finally put it together. Speaking of Robin, he's a long-time fixture at Ann Arbor and Memory Lane and is one of the last holdouts on getting a computer. I was second to last. He's never been on the Cabe and never will be, but is well known in the world of antique bikes and a good guy. Anyhow, I finally got this bike back on the road and it's a sweet machine. These closed fork-end Colsons are tough to get the front wheel on. If you don't have an extra set of hands, shown is a
quick and easy way to get the front wheel on, without busting your knuckles. As always, have fun in this hobby!
