Ricochet

On Training Wheels
Hi I’m a newbie all the way from Perth Western Australia
I recently bought a child’s bike.
It was found in a roadside chuckout,
(We call it a verge rubbish collection) in a very affluent part of the city. It looks like it has been used as yard-art
I’m a member of the Western Australia Historical Cycle Club, and at our June meeting I brought it as my show and tell.
I’d like to know it’s age and any history
Thanks
Rick

These were made from the mid 1920's through the early to mid 30's. Steinfeld was the company that retailed the children's line of bikes, tricycles and wagons for Columbia. Your bike looks to be a later one from the 30's. It's a very nice find,
