I live for the CABE
I recently purchased a vey nice Columbia Torpedo from the son of a 90 year old woman who died a while back.
The rear fender sported a plastic AMBER reflector and the rider don't seem like the kind of person who would customize her bike and I was just curious if this was an garage bump replacement from a bake shop or was it original.
No dents in the fender to indicate a riding accident so maybe the local bike shop didn't have any red replacements in stock.
Still, I wondered where you would use a reflector of this configuration as red has always neon the rear standard and it does not seem appropriate for a spoke mount.
What say you?
