Just trying to figure out the timeline on these lights, I was kinda figuring ( don't know exact years ) the no wing version 41-9, with wings 50 >, seems like they added the wings around when they changed tank styles?, just curious if my timeline is close?, any overlap or 3 Star vs. 5 Star ?

I think your timeline is pretty close , Delta introduced the ” LockTop “ style with the screw on the back of the top to make it more difficult for the kids at school to steal your batteries in 1954, hence the name “LockTop” . Same year the JetRocket light came out
