Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Here is another one from the Orient/Columbia hoard that popped up in Vermont or New Hampshire house that overlooks a lake this past summer. "As found" with great potential! Includes outstanding original Columbia script marked pedals, English leather saddle, rear mounting peg, and sweet bars. The bike was overpainted decades ago; the tires and grips are petrified artifacts for display only. There are scratches, scuffs, paint loss, minor rust, and heaps of filth as expected; the rear wood rim has some black glue(?) residue around the edges. Overall, a very solid example, would make for a great rider and has tremendous display presence. $1,750 plus shipping; free delivery to Southern California on my schedule with prepayment.
