JCHIGGINS springer on a Westfield but serial number will tell you more Ray?

Post war crank and a 1945-46 snap tank accessory. Probably a 46-48 in my opinion. The serial number under the crank housing will tell the tale.

48 by the numbers but they also went to forward facing dropouts in 48 so who knows, yours has a prewar tank and does that JCH springer even work with those fender braces, they are bolted to the axle and dont pivot like stock Higgins.
